CANY is committed to the following goals:

• Promotion of the ceramics and glass industry - in the broadest possible sense; marketing the industry, including general visibility for ceramics
• Facilitate networking within the industry
• Provide a varying menu of focused technical and non-technical topics for networking
• Influence state and other levels of government; keeping an eye on NYS legislature; raising awareness of the industy in government circles
• Communicate available technology from the industry to CANY members
• Student recruiting
